Pretty much flawless - great location, a
B&B with oodles of style.

"We stayed at Green Shadows on the first night of our West Highland Way walk. After having walked 12 miles from Milngavie, it was so good to get picked up by Gail from the village of Drymen. Great location and great views from our room. Gail the owner of Green Shadows is a really friendly host and gave us some really good advice on where to eat – Clachan Inn! A B&B with a bit of style - and great breakfasts too!"

"A very comfortable B and B our first on the WHW. Gail was a very helpful and accomodating host."

"The accommodation at Green Shadow was fantastic. The owner was wonderful and very informative and friendly. The house was beautiful with an amazing view of the Buchanan Golf Club and Estates and the room was lovely. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was quite lovely. We will stay there again the next time we are in Drymen."

"We arrived in Drymen after the first leg of the WHW, Gail came to collect us from the village green. We were impressed by the accommodation provided, in a lovely location, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Gail's friendliness and local knowledge were second to none, she suggested somewhere for us to eat and even provided a taxi service to and from for us.

After a peaceful nights sleep, the hearty breakfast & fresh coffee was just the ticket to set us up for the long day of walking that lay ahead. This was a marvelous place to stay and we would highly recommend it. Gail was friendly, knowledgable, unintrusive and even dropped us off to the start of the walk in the morning....wonderful."

"Wonderfully beautiful room and house. So much care with every detail of our stay, and wonderful hostess"

"4 of us recently completed the west higland and on a daily basis scored the Bed and Breakfasts on route , the Greenshadows came out top on all points of scoring , the breakfast was lovely , freshly prepared fruit was a treat before a hard days walk , the beds were very comfortable , I think i had my best nights sleep of the whole trip at greenshadows , Gail went out of her way to pick us up in Drymen in the afternoon after we'd finished our walking for the day , took us to Greenshadows , then drove us back into Drymen for and evening meal , then came and picked us back up when we'd finished , then the following morning dropped us back at the next section of the WHW , just fantastic location and hospitalilty - we'll definatly be back sometime for a longer stay. If your walking the WHW or not you won't get much better than Greenshadows"
